Hitachi Denshi to introduce five new cameras

JANUARY 4--Hitachi Denshi Europe, a member of the UKIVA (www.ukiva.org), will show several recently introduced camera models at IPOT 2006 (Birmingham, UK; Feb. 15--16).

JANUARY 4--Hitachi Denshi Europe, a member of the UKIVA (www.ukiva.org), will show several recently introduced camera models at IPOT 2006 (Birmingham, UK; Feb. 15--16). The KP-F140F, KP-FD140F, and KP-F80F are compact and lightweight, measuring 44 x 44 x 54 mm and weighing 130 grams. All three models are high resolution, have progressive-scan CCDs with square pixels, C lens mount, trigger, electronic shutter, internal or external sync, remote control, support IEEE1394.b interface, and are vibration and shock resistant. The KP-FD140F and the KP-F140F are 1.45-Mpixel models having 1/2-in. CCDs with 1392 x 1040 pixels and offer a partial scanning function. The KP-FD140F also has a primary colorr mosaic filter The KP-F80F has a 1/3-in. CCD with 1034 x 779 pixels.

The KP-F30SCL and the KP-F200SCL are small and lightweight, measuring 29 x 29 x 29 mm and weighing 53 grams, have progressive-scanning CCDs with square pixels, 8- or 10-bit Camera Link digital interface, C lens mount, variable shutter, frame on demand, serial communication, internal or external sync and are vibration and shock resistant.

The KP-F200SCL uses a 1/1.8-in., 2-Mpixel CCD with 1628 x 1236 pixels and operates at 15 frames/s. The KP-F30SCL uses a 1/3-in. CCD with 659 x 494 pixels and operates at 60 frames/s.
