JULY 28--Advanced Control Solutions (ACS; www.as-ga.com) has expanded its vision and automation laboratories to better serve its customers' requirements. Its Marietta, GA, facility now has more lab space and a significant increase in lights and lenses. The company has also added these expanded capabilities in its Nashville, TN, and Greenville, SC, facilities.
The purpose of these labs is to assist customers and integrator partners in "proving out" applications that require unique lights, lenses, and mechanical designs. This service is offered at no charge to end-user customers and integrator partners.
Last fall, ACS expanded its facility in Franklin, TN. The office is located just south of Nashville. It includes a vision and automation lab that is set up with advanced Cognex and DVT cameras, as well as advanced lighting from its strategic lighting vendors. The company also added a training room to enable local training on each of the products and services it offers.
