Running at 90 frames/s at 640 x 480-pixel resolution, the EC650 CCD camera incorporates a CCD sensor and achieves high sensitivity and low dark current through the use of Sony's HAD (hole accumulation diode) technology. Its snapshot shutter allows it to capture full-frame, stop-action images without a mechanical shutter. The EC650 is available in monochrome and color models. Applications include factory automation, industrial inspection, computer vision, traffic and public security, and aerospace and aeronautical imaging.
