JANUARY 8, 2010--The "Slim Line" (SLC) family of cameras (slc1020, slc2050, and slc2150) are 1- and 2-Mpixel cameras with a resolution of 1024 x 1024, 1600 x 1200, and 1920 x 1080 (HD format) pixels. Optical axis is perpendicular to the major part of the housing and offers a side-looking view; therefore the sensors are incorporated in a periscope-type of housing. The cameras use the latest XX50 sensors from Kodak with 5.5-µm pixel size and feature improved smearing and sensitivity compared to previous models. An area-of-interest (AOI) scan mode allows increased frame rates depending on chosen vertical resolution. A Gigabit Ethernet interface is incorporated into each model. All versions are available with monochrome and color sensor (Bayer pattern), and software developer's kit (SDK) and driver are provided.
