Basler expands management board by appointing Arndt Bake COO

The supervisory board of Basler has appointed Arndt Bake to the Management Board, effective January 1, 2011.  As  COO Bake will be responsible for product management, production and supply chain management.

The supervisory board of Basler (Ahrensburg, Germany) has appointed Arndt Bake to the Management Board, effective January 1, 2011. Bake will complement Chief Executive Officer Dr. Dietmar Ley and Chief Commercial Officer John P. Jennings. As Chief Operations Officer (COO) Bake will be responsible for product management, production, and supply chain management.

Arndt Bake has a master degree in electronics engineering and an MBA degree. In his former business career he worked in different marketing functions. After joining Basler in 2001, Bake took responsibility for the marketing of the digital cameras business segment (Components). From 2004 to mid of 2009 he lead the Components business segment. Since then Arndt Bake oversees the entire operational business of Basler AG.
