Computer Modules Inc. (CMI; San Diego, CA, USA) announced today that it has changed the name of its imaging division from QZEO to ImageOps. “Our new name better reflects the division’s recent strong focus on imaging,” said Ray Asturias, sales engineer for ImageOps. “With the growth of both our imaging customer base and the number of pure imaging products we offer, we are changing to a name that better communicates what our division does.”
ImageOps distributes electronic products and systems to companies in the industrial video, aerospace, biotechnology, microscopy, military, and semiconductor industries. The product line-up offered by ImageOps includes industrial cameras, high-speed motion analysis systems, imaging software, professional video and audio equipment, and video displays and monitors.
ImageOps distributes products from over 50 leading manufacturers, including Advanced Illumination, Communications Specialties, Euresys, Hitachi, JVC, Mikrotron, RGB Spectrum, and Sony. CMI, founded in 1982, is a privately held company.
