Adimec (Eindhoven, The Netherlands) announced the appointment of Dr. Joost van Kuijk as Vice President of Marketing and Technology. Reporting to CEO Andries Hofman, van Kuijk will help manage the company’s continued expansion and growth in key market segments such as industrial machine vision, medical imaging, and outdoor imaging applications.
In addition, Jochem Herrmann has stepped down from the Board of Directors and been appointed Chief Scientist in which role he will continue to contribute to the company’s technology strategy and success. He will report directly to van Kuijk.
Van Kuijk joins the company from Coventor, a MEMS design software company, where he held several senior roles during his 15-year career, most recently as VP of Marketing and Business Development.
The company says that Van Kuijk’s appointment comes at a key time for Adimec, which has established itself as a leading developer of advanced camera systems to the machine vision industry, medical x-ray imaging equipment manufacturers, and the rapidly growing outdoor imaging markets. He completes the renewed executive management team of Adimec Holding, which includes the additions of Andries Hofman and Alex de Boer.
