AUGUST 16, 2007--Photron and Electrophysics have announced a series of seminars on advancements in high-speed visible and thermal-imaging systems.

AUGUST 16, 2007--Photron (San Diego, CA, USA; www.photron.com), developer of ultrahigh-speed camera systems and slow-motion imaging solutions, and Electrophysics (www.electrophysics.com), manufacturer of infrared (IR) cameras, have announced a series of educational seminars focusing on the latest advancements in high-speed visible and thermal-imaging systems. The seminars are for system designers, plant managers, engineers, and others who are interested in high-speed industrial imaging technologies for R&D, testing applications, and production.

The series will include a "hands-on" lab to demonstrate Photron's camera systems and Electrophysics' thermal imagers and instrumentation for real-world solutions in both high-speed visible and thermal imaging. The first event will be held in on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at the Best Western O'Hare Hotel (Rosemont, IL, USA) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The second in the series is scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2007, at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites (Southfield, MI, USA), also from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The imaging seminars will provide in-depth presentations from each company. Photron will present "High Speed Imaging for Industrial Applications"; Electrophysics' session will include "Thermal Imaging Applications and Technology" with a discussion on advances in IR camera technology and the latest thermal imaging applications. The lab will include an extended question-and-answer session.
