JANUARY 26--CIS Americas, a supplier of industrial-grade machine-vision cameras, announced alliances with four distributors serving the North American market for machine-vision products.

The four distributors selected by CIS Americas are Aegis Electronic Group--aegiselect.com; Daitron--www.daitron.com; Motion Analysis--www.motionanalysisinc.com; and Phase 1 Technology--www.phase1tech.com.

The company's lineup of machine-vision cameras range from the cost-effective VCC-G20 series analog cameras to the new VCC-F32 color digital camera with 5M CCD image sensor and an ultrahigh-speed 72-MHz pixel clock. All CIS cameras are configured in high-density packaging, delivering high-speed and high-performance operation in a small footprint.
