Cameras now have remote heads

Nov. 20, 2007
The Dragonfly2 remote-head 20 × 30-mm sensor board is extended from the main camera board using a 6-in. shielded ribbon cable. The camera has improved electrical design that minimizes the effects of electromagnetic interference between multiple remote-head units and double the full-resolution frame rate. Each model comes equipped with a smaller and more streamlined cast-metal CS-mount lens holder (C-mount adapter included) and general-purpose I/O connector for trigger, strobe, and serial I/O.
