CMOS camera optimized for near-IR imaging

Nov. 12, 2007
MicroVista-NIR has 100% fill factor and proprietary antireflection coatings and matches near-IR imaging performance of more expensive CCD-based cameras. Applications include biometrics, near-IR microscopy, general low-light near-IR imaging, medical imaging, hyperspectral imaging, and surveillance. The camera's focal plane array has a 1280 × 1024 format, 10.8-µm-square pixels, high quantum efficiency at near-IR wavelengths, and supports 30-frames/s, full frame, and Camera Link data port.
