NOVEMBER 12, 2007--GigaLinx (Hod Hasharon, Israel; www.gigalinx.net), a supplier of high-bandwidth video streaming solutions for machine vision, military, security, and medical applications, has entered into a technology licensing agreement with Hitachi Kokusai Electric (Japan). Under the agreement, GigaLinx grants to Hitachi Kokusai permission to use its video-over-IP (VOIP) technology in its new line of GigE (Gigabit Ethernet) cameras, allowing transfer of video and imaging data over high-performance, low-cost GigE connections.

With its small size and low power consumption, GigaLinx's technology allows camera manufacturers to reach unprecedented levels of miniaturization. GigaLinx's unique full-source-code licensing model enables licensees to have full control over this critical core technology and to significantly reduce time-to-market and cost.

Hitachi Kokusai Electric designs, manufactures, and markets HDTV, SDTV, and industrial video cameras for the broadcast television, cable, government, video production, and institutional markets. For more information, visit www.h-kokusai.com.
