DECEMBER 7, 2007--Organized by the VDMA Machine Vision group, the "Industrial Vision Days" seminar papers consist of more than 40 presentations that were given at VISION 2007 in Stuttgart, Germany. These have been published by the EMVA on the organization's Web site at www.emva.com.
The three-day seminar included presentations ranging from selecting a lens for machine vision, the latest developments in the EMVA 1288 and GeniCam standards, GigE Vision cameras, and machine-vision software. Of special interest is "Quality criteria for the section of lenses" from Jos. Schneider Optische (www.schneiderkreuznach.com) that can be accessed at www.vdma.org.
