OCTOBER 10, 2007--Machine-vision camera manufacturer Allied Vision Technologies (AVT; Stadtroda, Germany; www.alliedvisiontec.com) is significantly expanding its development center in Ahrensburg. AVT's R&D activities will be relocated into larger facilities, and additional employees will be hired to increase development capabilities in both hardware and software. The AVT development team will move into the CCA (City Center Ahrensburg).

Frank Grube, president/CEO of AVT, said, "We have grown faster than expected in recent years. Our former offices are already no longer sufficient. With this move, we also anticipate the next expansion stage."

The move into the new development center in the CCA is the third since AVT began development of its own cameras in 2001.
