Moritex opens German office for its vision products

JULY 2, 2007—To support its growing German-speaking customer base, Moritex Europe (Cambridge, UK; www.moritex.com) has announced the opening of a new office in Munich, Germany.

JULY 2, 2007—To support its growing German-speaking customer base, Moritex Europe(Cambridge, UK; www.moritex.com) has announced the opening of a new office in Munich, Germany. The company says it made the decision to set up the new office after the enthusiastic interest shown in its products at the VISION 2006 show in Stuttgart, Germany.

Formed as a subsidiary of Moritex Europe, the Munich office will provide an applications laboratory staffed by two technical specialists, offices, and a stock of the company's range of telecentric lenses, LED lighting, halogen light sources, and fiber light guides.

Matthias Endig, the new head of Moritex Germany, commented, "We are looking forward to working with local systems integrators, scientists, engineers, and technicians to provide affordable, high-performance solutions to their vision applications."
