Telecentric machine vision lenses from Edmund Optics to be shown at Automate 2017
At Automate 2017, Edmund Optics will be showcasing its TitanTL telecentric lenses, which are designed for machine vision systems and metrology applications. These lenses contain shims that provide adjustment for variation in camera sensor location, and adjustable iris and a three-set screw lens mount for rotational alignment to the camera. The lenses are designed for 1/1.8", 2/3", 1", and 4/3" image sensors and feature <0.1° telecentricity , and are available in various FOV models. Typical applications, suggests the company, include automotive and electronic inspection, measurement, and gauging.
