• Flexible industrial camera with GigE and USB3 interfaces to be shown at SPIE DCS 2017

    On display at the Kappa optronics booth at SPIE DCS 2017 will be the company’s FDC camera platform, which is a flexible industrial camera that can take on various shapes and forms to suit a customer’s need.

    On display at the Kappa optronics booth at SPIE DCS 2017 will be the company’s FDC camera platform, which is a flexible industrial camera that can take on various shapes and forms to suit a customer’s need. The camera is available as a board-level camera, as well as with a 29 x 29 x 29 mm housing with IP protection class and different mounts. The adjustable camera is available with CMOS and CCD image sensors from Sony, ON Semiconductor, and e2v, which allows for customization based on user needs. Sensor cover removel and cooling is also possible, when needed. Additionally, USB3 Vision and GigE Vision interfaces are available, depending on the customer need, as well as additional I/O and triggers. A software development kit for the camera is also available.
