3D cameras and smart cameras from Vision Components to be shown at SPIE Photonics West
Vision Components will showcase its 3D cameras, the VC nano 3D series, as well as its VC-Z smart cameras for OEM applications (pictured) at SPIE Photonics West 2017. The VC nano 3D series cameras are available in four models and integrate a line laser and a smart camera, including such features as CMOS image sensors, scan rates of up to 400 Hz using triangulation, DSP processors, two digital I/O, and working distances between 80 and 120 mm.
VC-Z smart cameras are equipped with Xilinx' Zynq-Modul, an ARM Dual-Core Cortex-A9 with 866 MHz and an integrated FPGA. Additionally, the cameras feature CMOS image sensors, frame rates up to 120 fps, and the VCLib software library, which provides over 300 basic industrial image processing functions such as pattern matching, that can be tested and debugged in advance in a simulation environment. VC-Z cameras are available in two housed camera takes: The VC nano Z, which has housing dimensions of 80 x 45 x 20 mm, and the VC pro Z with ingress protection IP 67, which measures 88 x 58 x 36 mm and can be fitted with a lens and an integrated LED illumination
