Allied Vision has announced the release of the Bonito PRO CoaXPress camera line, which was presented to the public for the first time at the Image Sensing Show in Yokohama, Japan from June 7 to June 9. The CoaXPress cameras feature 4 x CXP-6 ports, enabling bit rates of 25 Gbit/s over four coaxial cables. Two camera models in the new series have been announced: The Bonito PRO X-2620 and X-1250. The Bonito PRO X-2620 features the ON Semiconductor PYTHON 25K, a 26.2 MPixel global shutter CMOS image sensor that reaches speeds of 80 fps, while the PRO X-1250 features the 12.5 MPixel ON Semiconductor PYTHON 12K, a global shutter CMOS image sensor that reaches speeds of 160 fps.
Users can choose between monochrome and color sensors, as well as an NIR sensor option with enhanced near infrared sensitivity. Additionally, the cameras feature Power over CoaXPress, rugged housing design, and a feature set that includes sequencer mode, multiple Region of Interest (ROI), Fixed Pattern Noise Correction (FPNC), Defect Pixel Correction (DPC), binning, decimation, look-up tables, gamma, and color correction.
