DiOP names BFi Optilas exclusive European distributor

MARCH 23--Diversified Optical Products Inc. (DiOP), a manufacturer of thermal-imaging solutions, has announced an agreement with BFi OPTiLAS International (Evry, France; www.bfioptilas.com), an Avnet company, for exclusive distribution of DiOP's line of high-performance, cooled thermal-imaging cameras in 13 European countries. BFi OPTiLAS will represent DiOP's complete family of cooled thermal-imaging cameras, including the EOSS camera series of mid-range solutions and the DiOP family of long-range cameras designed primarily for surveillance and security applications.

DiOP has developed as a fully integrated manufacturer of sophisticated infrared optical lens assemblies and high-end thermal imaging cameras. Products are used in a wide range of government and commercial night-vision applications, including surveillance, security, fire fighting, and clip-on sights.
