JULY 13--Symagery (Ottawa, ON, Canada;www.symagery.com) announced that a leading industrial equipment supplier has ordered 10,000 units of its VCA1281 image-sensor device to incorporate into one of its automotive service equipment offerings. This order represents the beginning of a potential multiyear supply arrangement. Symagery's image-reader systems offer high resolution and large field of view for maximum efficiency and productivity. They are used in a variety of industries.

The VCA1281 sensor offers a proprietary, high-performance, 1.3-Mpixel CMOS image sensor with high sensitivity for crisp, clear pictures. Frames rates as high as 30 frames/s provide full video and extremely low crosstalk for detailed image capture.

Symagery sells exclusively to original equipment manufacturers. Within an open, collaborative environment, Symagery's customers can customize its solutions to meet their industry-specific needs.
