APRIL 14--Siemens Dematic Electronics Assembly Systems (Stadtroda, Germany) received the "Golden Camera" award from Allied Vision Technologies (AVT; www.alliedvisiontec.com) for 20,000 high-precision cameras of one system shipped to Siplace and as thanks for many years of successful cooperation with AVT. "We are very proud of the Golden Camera and view it as an expression of our cooperation with AVT for our customers' ultimate benefit," said Helmut Preßl, commercial director of Siemens Dematic EA.
