5 MPixel machine vision lenses from Tamron to be showcased at The Vision Show 2018

At The Vision Show 2018, Tamron will showcase its M112FM series of fixed focal length lenses for machine vision, which support 5 MPixel resolution for 1/1.2” imagers in Ø29mm compact bodies. The C-Mount series consists of 8mm F/2.4, 12mm F/2.0, 16mm F/2.0, 25mm F/1.8, 35mm F/2.1, 50mm F/.2.8 and 75mm F/3.5 models, and feature state-of-the-art optics and advanced coating technologies, according to Tamron. Rotational torque is increased to improve maneuverability for focusing and iris adjustment, and lock-screw positions are increased to four instead of the three of the former models, assisting easier installation for users, according to the company.
