At The Vision Show 2018, Machine Vision Lighting Inc. will showcase its VISA method lightingproduct, which is designed for machine vision inspection applications. VISA lighting, which stands for “Variable irradiation solid angle lighting,” reportedly enables uniform and constant lighting at all points on the surface of an object as well as uniform lighting at each point within a certain solid angle range, according to the company. “Irradiation solid angle” refers to a measure that expresses the angular range of light irradiated at a point in terms of a cone whose vertex is at that point, according to Machine Vision Lighting Inc.
