Designed for deployment into embedded vision applications, the MOD255I sensor module from Sunex Optics is based on the company’s 4K miniature DSL255 SuperFishEye lens.

Designed for deployment into embedded vision applications, the MOD255I sensor module from Sunex Optics is based on the company’s 4K miniature DSL255 SuperFishEye lens. The module features the 12.3 MPixel Sony IMX477 sensor, which is a global shutter CMOS image sensor with a 1.55 µm pixel size that can achieve a frame rate of 60 fps. Available through FRAMOS, the MOD255I’s dynamically aligned lens provides a wide 190° field of view at a design image circle of 4.3 mm. Additionally, the module features a MIPI interface with 4 bus lanes at 2.1 Gbps for 12-bit digital output with both line scan and frame rate synchronization.
