On display at the PCO booth at VISION 2018 will be the new pco.dicam C1 and C4 cameras, which are scientific CMOS (sCMOS) cameras with 25 mm image intensifiers that are suitable for applications with extreme low light conditions. Both cameras feature a 16-bit 2048 x 2048 sCMOS image sensor that can achieve a frame rate of 100 fps at full resolution, as well as a Camera Link HS interface, exposure/shutter times down to 4 ns, and an “ultra-speed tandem lens” between the image intensifier and the sCMOS image sensor. PCO’s pco.dicam C4 combines four pco.dicam C1 cameras in one housing, including four image intensifiers, four tandem lenses, and four image sensors.
