    Available in four different models—each of which is offered in color or monochrome versions—the HAWK MV-4000 family of smart cameras from Omron Microscan can reach an inspection speed of up to 6,000 parts per minute. The cameras feature a dual core processor and FPGA and utilize PYTHON CMOS image sensors from ON Semiconductor ranging in size from 0.3 to 5 MPixels with a pixel size of 4.8 µm. Utilizing state-of-the-art algorithms, according to the company, HAWK MV-4000 smart cameras perform code reading, code verification, inspection, guidance, and gauging. Additionally, the smart cameras—which come with lens, lights, cable, and mounts—has an image-centric user interface with drag-and-drop programming.
