LUCID Vision Labs has launched a new camera to its GigE PoE Phoenix Camera line, the Phoenix Dual-Extended-Head camera. This camera is equipped with two Sony IMX264 CMOS global shutter sensors, both of which have 5 MPixel, 2448 x 2048 resolution, 3.45 x 3.34 µm pixel size, and up to 12.3 fps frame rate per sensor.
The camera conforms to GigE Vision 2 and GeniCam 3 standards and is supported by LUCID’s Arena SDK, which is compatible with Windows, Linux 64-bit, and Linux ARM operating systems and can support C, C++, C#, and Python programming languages.
The camera has dual C-mount extended head lens mount and has a footprint of 28 x 36 x 32.8 mm and weights 54 g. It has an operating temperature range of -10°C to 55°C and can operate in up to 80% humidity.
The camera is especially designed for a wide array of machine vision tasks that require multiple fields of view, including stereo vision systems, autonomous vehicles/mobile robot, and drone applications.
