• Teledyne DALSA Launches New 8k Super Resolution Camera

    Compact line scan camera designed for a wide array of machine vision applications, including inspections.

    Teledyne DALSA has launched its Linea Lite 8k Super Resolution line scan camera. This monochrome camera is equipped with a CMOS shutter and delivers  8192 x 2 resolution, has a 3.5 µm pixel size, dynamic range of 72 dB, and 25 kHz max line rate. The camera has GigE Vision interface, with an interface speed of up to 1 Gbps, and uses one PoE cable to drive both data connection and power source.

    The camera has M42x1 lens support options. It has an operating temperature range of -10°C to 65°C. Designed  for use in smaller spaces, it weighs 111g and has a 46 x 46 x 37 mm footprint, which is 45% smaller than the original Linea line scan cameras. The camera is especially designed for a wide range of machine vision applications, including automated inspections.
