CCD camera delivers dual clock rates

Feb. 1, 1999
The ORCA II 1280 x 1024-pixel, progressive-scan, interline CCD camera provides two independent clock rates--a fast rate for high-frame-rate imaging and a slow clock rate for high-precision imaging. It offers various pixel formats by using binning or subarray functions. Hermetic vacuum sealing and Peltier cooling with air radiation cools the CCD to -40C to -50C. An AIA-standard digital output interfaces to most frame grabbers. Hamamatsu Photonic Systems, 360 Foothill Rd., Bridgewater, NJ 08807; (
