Low-cost frame grabbers ride the PCI bus Frame grabbers 611 and 711 for the PCI bus can transfer data at 30 frames/s from NTSC, PAL, SECAM, or CCIR cameras. Priced at $335 and $385, respectively, the frame grabbers can interface to as many as three cameras, two with composite video and one with S-video output. Four input and output lines are available to control camera focus, pan, tilt, and triggering. Both frame grabbers are supplied with a software-development kit for Windows 95/NT that includes sample programs for Visual Basic (VB) and a 32-bit DLL.
