Imaging gets interactive
In release 6.1 of its Optimas software, Optimas has incorporated a Wizard that leads developers through interactive examples of image acquisition and enhancement, feature detection, measurement extraction, and macro automation. Running under both Windows 95 and NT, Optimas 6.1 takes advantage of features such as long file names and docking toolbars of NT and 95. The software also supports 32-bit NT hardware drivers for a number of PCI-bus frame grabbers as well as 16-bit image capture boards.
