Imaging software covers scientific/industrial uses
The Matrox Inspector version 2.2 is an interactive Windows 95/NT scientific and industrial imaging package that contains functions for image capture, processing, blob analysis, guaging/measurement, and pattern recognition/matching. It serves such applications as off-line industrial inspection, microscopy, medical visualization, image cataloging, and biological analysis. It also includes Intel MMX technology to speed up neighborhood operations such as convolutions and morphology, point-to-point class operations such as arithmetic, and high-level algorithms such as pattern matching/recognition. In addition to monochrome and color-image manipulation and analysis, the software supports region-of-interest processing and image annotation, as well as the company?s line of PCI frame grabbers.
