National Instruments has released two new 2-port GigE visionframe grabbers with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. The NI PCIe-8236 and NI PCIe-8237R frame grabbers feature NI LabVIEW FPGA-enabled I/O, including isolated digital inputs and outputs. They also include triggering and synchronization options, including a low-jitter, low-latency FPGA-based network trigger as well as RTSI synchronization bus support. Both models comply with isolation specifications in the PoE standard to provide additional safety for the vision system and its operator.
