Laser Components offers fiber-coupled 405 nm laser diodes

At a wavelength of 405 nm, the laser diode components emit from the fiber an optical output power of 20 mW to 100 mW.


Our range of fiber-coupled high-power laser diodes is increasing more and more; for example, the K41 and CS405 series have recently been added. At a wavelength of 405 nm, the components emit from the fiber an optical output power of 20 mW to 100 mW. Optimal optical and electronic performance is achieved through the unique alignment of the 3 µm to 60 µm fibers.

In addition to an outstanding coupling efficiency, the fiber connection features long-term stability and optimal beam performance. If desired, we may also equip the fiber end with an optical connector: Here you have a choice between FC, ST, and SMA connectors. The K41 series emits up to 100 mW from a 60 µm multimode fiber with a numerical aperture of 0.22 and up to 30 mW from a 3 µm single-mode fiber with an NA of 0.12.

The CS405 series achieves an even better coupling efficiency, emitting 60 mW from a 4.5 µm fiber with an NA of 0.06. All components are delivered in a robust metal housing. Depending on the design, the powerful laser diodes are also available with a thermoelectric cooler and/or a thermistor. They are thus ideally suited for use in medical technology, material processing, illumination, printing, biochemical analyses, or scientific applications.
