DECEMBER 11, 2009--The VMV-8M is an 8-Mpixel camera based on the Eastman Kodak KAI-08050 CCD sensor. It offers 3296 x 2472-pixel resolution at 5.5 microns. The VMV-8052 is the first camera in the new VMV line and is joined by the VMV-1M (1-Mpixel), VMV-2M (2-Mpixel), VMV-2MHD (2-Mpixel HD) and will be joined in 2010 by the VMV-4M (4-Mpixel) camera. All cameras are one- and two-tap versions. The four-tap version will become available in 1Q10.

VMV-8M Camera Delivers Incredible resolution with the new 5.5 micron sensor.
Minnetonka, MN - illunis LLC, mega pixel and custom OEM camera specialist, today introduces their latest camera, the VMV-8M, an 8 Mega Pixel camera based on the Eastman Kodak KAI-08050 sensor.
The VMV-8M offers an amazing resolution (3,296 x 2,472) at 5.5 microns, at an incredibly low price, with the same high quality that illunis is known for.
"As always with illunis, we listen to our customers and develop for them a camera to meet their requirements," explains Erik Vermeulen, Director of Sales and Marketing "The VMV range is aimed at those customers who need high quality, no-frills cameras with basic features. The VMV range of cameras will be our first 'off-the-shelve' product, and customers will be amazed at our prices."
The VMV-8052 is the first camera in the new VMV line, and is joined by the VMV-1M (1 Mega Pixel), VMV-2M (2MP), VMV-2MHD (2MP HD) and will be joined in 2010 by the VMV-4M (4MP) camera.
The VMV-line of cameras is based on the new KODAK TRUESENSE 5.5 micron CCD sensors.
All these cameras are 1 and 2 tap version. The 4-tap version will become available Q1, 2010
