STMicroelectronics Launches New Line of Sensors

Sensors designed for machine vision applications such as identification, inspections, robotic guidance.

STMicroelectronics has launched a new line of CMOS image sensors, VD1943, VB1943, VD5943, and VB5943. These sensors all have 5 MPixel resolution and can achieve up to 100 fps frame rate. Available in monochrome (VD5943, VB5943) and RGB-IR (VD1943, VB1943), they feature dual global shutter and rolling shutter technology, on-chip RGB-IR conversion, and MIPI CSI-2 interface.

These image sensors are especially designed for a variety of machine vision applications including inspection, identification, and robotic guidance.
