Euresys Launches CoaXPress-Over-Fiber Frame Grabber

Euresys recently launched a new CoaXPress-over Fiber Frame Grabber, the Coaxlink QSFP28. The new frame grabber uses fiber optics connectivity and can achieve up to 12,500 MB/s bandwidth from camera to host PC memory, with 15,700 MB/s peak bandwidth. It has 8 lane link width and achieves 16 GT/s link speed, with a maximum payload size of 512 bytes. It can support grayscale and color, single tap progressive scan or two tap area scan cameras and grayscale and color RGB line scan cameras and contact imaging sensors.

The Coaxlink QSFP28 is especially designed for high-speed machine vision tasks, including automated inspections and medical/life sciences applications.
