New Release - GigE Vision 3.0 Device IP Core
After years of preparation within the GigE Vision Technical Committee and the official release of the GigE Vision 3.0 standard, Allied Vision is proud to introduce its latest IP FPGA core, which implements the new GigE Vision 3 standard. The new GigE Vision Remote Streaming Protocol uses the industry-proven RoCEv2 protocol, which allows the previous limit of approximately 10 Gigabit/s to be exceeded.
The CPU load on the receiver is drastically reduced thanks to the remote DMA capabilities of modern network interface cards.
The IP Core, released today by Allied Vision, supports 10 and 25 Gbps and comes with a development framework that allows developers to significantly reduce time-to-market when implementing the GigE Vision protocol.
Reference designs are available for various AMD or Altera FPGAs.
