TPL Vision Expands Modular Solutions with Two Innovative Ring Lights

[Perth, Scotland] TPL Vision, a leader in machine vision lighting solutions, is proud to announce the extension of its product range with the introduction of two new ring lights: the Modular M-HPRING and the Modular M-TRING. Designed to meet the diverse needs of industrial automation applications, these new ring lights offer market-leading versatility and performance in an IP67-rated housing. 

Each ring light is available in two versions (DO-opaque and DT-transparent). The transparent diffuser provides the most intense output and is effective at various working distances, while the opaque diffuser is ideal for inspecting shiny and reflective parts by effectively masking any visible LED hotspots.

Modular M-HPRING 

With its robust design and market-leading brightness, the larger Modular M-HPRING delivers intense illumination for vision applications including robotics, code reading, and quality control. The M-HPRING is available in 5 colours (white, red, IR, green, blue). Using Angle Changers, users can effortlessly adjust the angle of illumination and amount of diffusion, without disassembling the product.

Modular M-TRING 

The Modular M-TRING is a compact, yet powerful ring light designed for precision machinery, robotics, and small-scale vision inspection applications. It features direct compatibility with C-mount lenses and offers high-brightness illumination for maximum contrast, despite its small footprint.

Key features of the M-TRING include: 

·       Modular design with lens options and Angle Changer flexibility

·       Continuous and Strobe OverDrive modes with dimming

·       36mm internal diameter for direct mounting to C-mount lenses

·       Easy installation and use with most cameras.

Like its counterpart, the M-TRING is available in 5 colours, offers transparent or opaque diffuser options, and flexibility to suit a variety of applications. 

Converging Angle Changers 

Both the M-HPRING and the M-TRING are compatible with the Converging Angle Changers, a brand new addition to the TPL product line-up. Designed to eliminate the "halo" effect typical of ring lights, Converging Angle Changers concentrate illumination in the centre of the field of view. This unlocks a new lighting effect, providing intense illumination similar to a machine vision spot light.
