June 17th, 2021, Cambridge, UK: Advanced Micro Peripherals (AMP), an embedded boards and system solutions manufacturer, announced the release of a new range of VPX solutions designed for the Military, Communications, Transportation, and Energy industries.

VPX was created to deliver faster performance for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance applications that are notoriously high-bandwidth and data intensive. The first two releases of AMP’s VPX line are the following boards:
• The XStream-VPX – A 3U Ultra Low Latency (40ms) H.264/H.265 Video Streamer. Featuring eight PAL/NTSC inputs, one HDMI/DVI, RS343/RGB/STANAG, and one HD-SDI input.
• The AVC-VPX – A 3U multi-channel Frame Grabber. Featuring eight PAL/NTSC inputs, eight raw digital video streams to VPX host, live video overlay to system display, and low power operation.
