Embedded MIPI camera module features 2 MPixel resolution and high depth of field

Feb. 25, 2021
The module is designed for scanning and embedded vision applications.

The 2 MPixel camera module from Teledyne e2v features MIPI interface, global shutter CMOS sensor with 2.8 µm pixel, 20 x 20 x 16 mm footprint, and custom-designed high depth of field lens intended for applications with greater working ranges. Semi-customization is possible for alternative optical specification.

According to the manufacturer, the module is designed specifically for scanning and embedded vision applications, with a proprietary exposure mode that ensures all frames are correctly exposed, for fast decoding/image processing downstream, even in rapidly changing light conditions. FPC cable connectors can link the camera module to a platform and limited API-layer Linux software drivers are available.
