Embedded processing kit includes flexible SoM and pylon Camera Software Suite

The board offers a neural network processor unit and integrated image signal processor.

The Embedded Processing Kit from Basler is based on a flexible System-on-Module and carrier board approach. The included embedded computing board features the NXP i.MX 8M Plus System-on-Chip, that features a neural network processor unit and integrated image signal processor. The kit also includes the pylon Camera Software Suite, featuring certified drivers for multiple camera interfaces, programming interfaces, and camera setup tools.

The board includes BCON for MIPI, GigE Vision, and USB3 Vision interfaces, in addition to a large selection of standard interfaces: HDMI, GPIOs, SPIs/I2Cs, LVDS, UART, CAN, USB2.0, WiFi, and Bluetooth.

First functional samples will be available in April, with general availability planned for July.
