congatec’s kit is designed to run popular inference engines

The AI accelerated intelligent embedded vision starter kit from congatec is based on a SMARC 2.1 computer-on-module congra-SMX8-Plus, that features 4 Arm Cortex-A53 cores, 1 Arm Cortex-M72 controller and the NXP Neutral Processing Unit (NPU). The kit can run the Arm Neural Network and TensorFlow Lite inference engines and libraries among others and integrates with Basler embedded vision software.

The 3.5-in. carrier board connects directly to a 13 MPixel Basler dart daA4200-30mci BCON for MIPI camera with an f/1.8 f4mm lens via MIPI CSI-2.0. USB and GigE Vision cameras are also supported.

The kit also includes a bootable SD card with preconfigured boat loader, Yocto OS image, matching BSPs, and processor-optimized Basler embedded vision software.
