Embedded AI-Based Vision System Launched
Cognex Corporation recently launched the Advantage 182 vision system. The system includes advanced machine vision, barcode reading, and edge learning technology designed for a variety of applications, including presence/absence detection and track-and-trace applications, high-precision alignment, defect detection, object and scene classification, text and character reading and complex color inspections. It can be useful across a spectrum of industry sectors, including life sciences. The system can run both edge learning tools and rule-based tools. Advantage 182 offers modular hardware, which allows for long-term revision control.
