Active Silicon Launches New Autofocus Zoom Camera
Active Silicon recently launched a new autofocus zoom camera, the Harrier 55x AF-Zoom Camera.
The Harrier 55x AF-Zoom Camera is a 5 MPixel autofocus high resolution camera with 55x optical hybrid zoom and 32x digital zoom. It comes with a Sony IMX335 CMOS sensor and with a shutter speed of 1/1 – 1/100,000 sec., provides full HD video up to 1080p30 with low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) video and can simultaneously provide an analog CVBS output.
It features digital image stabilization, digital noise reduction, privacy mask function, high light compensation, intelligent motion detection, defog, and infrared cut filter removal. It has a focal length of 4.25 – 234 mm and angles of view, are 69.3°(D) x 62.13°(H) x 37.44°(V) for wide angle and 1.48°(D) x 1.29°(H) x.73° (V) for telephoto.
The camera is compatible with all Harrier camera interface boards, which convert the LVDS output to a variety of video formats, including HD-SDI, HD-VLC, USB3, HDMI, and IP Ethernet.
The camera has a footprint of 101 x 54 x 64 mm, weighs 355 g, operating temperature range of -10°C - 50°C, and can operate in up to 90% humidity with no condensation.
The Harrier 55x AF-Zoom Camera is designed for a variety of machine vision applications such as inspection systems, UAVs, drones, and ROVs, and medical applications.
