DSP cards from Sheldon Instruments target embedded imaging applications
The SI-C667xDSP family of small form factor, commercial off-the-shelfcards feature Texas Instruments’ Keystone I TMS320C667x digital signal processors, target embedded real-time image processing. The SI-C667xDSP can perform 2D FFT convolution on high-res video in real time at less than 15W. The card features a GigE interface with on-chip network processor (driver available for Ethernet-enabled cameras), x2 PCI Express ports, and a flexible x4 SRIO port that’s connected to an optional FPGA or other external peripherals. It is also available in PC/104-Express and PC Add-in card form factors. Software supports Windows/Linux 32/64 bit drivers, DSP and host PC projects with utilities and demos. The SI-C667xDSP family of cards is suitable for use in such applications as machine vision, UAV control systems, medical imaging, and military and aerospace.
