AtSPIE DSS from April 21-23, Raptor Photonics will showcase its newly-launched OWL 640 analog camera. Following on the launch of its OWL 640 Camera Link camera, Raptor launched an analog alternative with CCIR and EIA output choices. The camera features a 640 x 480 InGaAs PiN-Photodiode detector with a 15 µm pixel size and a spectral response of 0.4 to 1.7 µm. The analog OWL 640 runs at 25 Hz in CCIR and 30 Hz in EIA, enabling digital video with on-board automated gain control. The OWL 640 analog camera is suitable for use in such applications as UAVs, security and surveillance, and handheld systems. In addition, Raptor is launching a range of compact SWIR-optimized lasers for short or long range illumination and pointing.
