CIS Corporation has announced the release of a new full HD camera, which is available in both a housed or board-level version, and targets such applications as surveillance, UAVs, ROVs, and intelligent transportation systems. The camera features a 1/3", 2.3 MPixel CMOS image sensor with a 2.75 µm pixel size that can achieve a frame rate of 60 fps at full resolution. The camera also features CIS' Clairvu image processing algorithm engine, which features such functions as auto exposure, auto white balancing, gamma correction, and defective pixel compensation.
