Hyperspectral imager designed for UAVs introduced by BaySpec
Covering the 450-970 nm range, the OCI-Dhyperspectral imager from Bayspec operates as a true push-broom imager, offering up to 120 bands with 2000 pixels and 5 nm resolution. The OCI-D, which is designed for UAV integration, features lifetime calibration and unlike some hyperspectral imagers, allows the imager to move and scan at random speeds, and doesn’t depend on GPS/IMU data for hypercube reconstruction. Included with the camera, which has a USB 3.0 interface, is BaySpec’s SpecGrabber for camera control and data acquisition, and CubeCreator, for hyperspectral data processing. OCI-D targets such applications as precision agriculture, environmental conservancy, geological surveys, ecosystem studies, and more.
